Welcome to Your Sacred Irish Pilgrimage!
I am delighted to share with you the land, sea, and stone where I lived
The Out of the Way Beara Peninsula, on the West Coast, with mystical sea and mountain views, stone circles and standing stones that retain Ancient Memory. It is also the home of The Cailleach, the Great Mother-Crone.
This is a different kind of pilgrimage, a slow soulful pilgrimage, one filled with much spaciousness, silence and minimal travel and gentle walking.
It is a pilgrimage of the soul. A pilgrimage to remember. To remember your Ancient Soul and Memory.
If this sounds like a soul-calling please read on...
Where We Stay
We will have exclusive use of my dear friend Fran's house and cottage accommodation, overlooking Coulagh Bay with the rolling green hills surrounding us.
We stay in the same place for the whole pilgrimage so you can unpack, breathe and devote all your energy to simply being with the mysteries of the land. All rooms have a sea view with ensuite bathroom.
There are also beautiful walks close by for your free time and the colorful village of Eyeries is just across the bay.
A Contemplative Pilgrimage

This is a pilgrimage of deep listening
Listening to the whispers and stories of the land, the sea and stone
Listening to Ancient Memory and what it wants to tell you
Opening to remember your own Ancient Memory and Ancient Soul through your body, through your prayer
We will honor Cailleach, the Great Mother & Crone, bring our offerings, a piece of our own soul, to join with hers, and let her wisdom flow through us as we journey together.
POETRY, PRAYER, RITUAL & MUSIC will also be our guides throughout the pilgrimage
The Cailleach Stone on the shoreline
Breathe into the mystery
It calls your name
Softly
It is not loud
Nor does it make a big splash
"Leave your ways behind
And follow Me."

Honoring Our Ancestors
~ Honor your ancestors, known and unknown
~ Feel the ancient stone and monastic energy of old
~ Visit the largest Ogham Stone in Ireland (Ogham=early tree alphabet)
~ Soak in the stillness of land and soul

Gougane Barra
The Church of St.Finbarr is a mystical place filled with the Spirit
~ St. Finbarr is the patron saint of Cork and established his monastery here in the 6th century
~ Yeshua appeared to Finbarr at Gourgane Barra and the spirit of this meeting can still be felt
~ Stroll along the easy forest and lake walks and feel the serenity and peace and mystic awareness permeating
~ Bring an offering for the Holy Well and also a small bottle to take the sacred water with you

The footprints of an elder race are here,
With memories of an old heroic time;
And shadows of an old mysterious faith,
So that the place seems otherworldly
As magical sounds float in the wind
(Anonymous)
We will visit this Stone Circle and commune with the stones. It is here that I sang and danced with the Tautha de Danaan - the magical ruling peoples of Ireland from long ago. The stones are a portal for them to appear.
We will also visit Glenbeg Lough, a lake in a mystical glacial valley surrounded by mountains. You will learn of the mythological legend of The Children of Lir and feel the otherworldly presence that inhabits this 'thin place.'
All sites are within a 15 minutes drive from where we stay, except Gougane Barra which is a little over an hour. So, more time to commune with the land and less time driving. That's a relief!

"Meghan’s deep connection to the Divine and to the Goddess enables her to create a truly magnificent environment for a heavenly experience, deeply metaphysical, while at the same time deeply grounded in Mother Earth.
Her authenticity, approachability, and loving nature enabled me and our entire group to bond, and to experience many deeply spiritual experiences, and healing and renewal. Additionally, her familiarity with Ireland and her people, enables her to provide an inspiring and transformative experience where you feel like a native and not like a tourist.
I treasure my memories and the beautiful experiences we shared on our sacred journey."
