We are beings of Union” - Meghan Don THE SMALL & GREAT LOVE Teresa of Avila, in her infinite wisdom, said that it is not the small ego-self who loves but the Greater Love that lives within. The small self, prone to fear, judgement, and withholding (usually in that order), is not expected to love those we find difficult or become outraged by. This knowledge can give us a great sense of relief and at the same time a great sense of responsibility. THE RESPONSIBILITY We are asked to take care of our ego-self and to make sure it does not run wild, creating havoc in the vineyard of life. We are asked to identify our withholding of love and the disbelief, judgment, and fear before it spills out into the streets. Not denying all that is being felt but containing it within our own energy sphere. THE REALITY If we are divided within, we are divided without. If we are divided, we are in conflict. If we are in conflict within, we are in conflict without. If we are in conflict, we are at war. If we are at war within, we are at war without. And so our world is born and re-born and re-born. THE OTHER REALITY The Other Reality is right here. Right within. The reality of Union. The reality of Love. The reality of Peace. The reality of the Golden Love. The Golden Love is a vibration of the essence of this life. It is the vibration of Yeshua and Magdalene It is the vibration of Sophia It is the vibration of Union It is the vibration of our True Nature This is what Loves. OUR FOCUS ~ We will focus on the Greater Love of Union - drawing all polarities into their unified whole and invite everything we are currently feeling and experiencing into that. ~ We will listen to what Sophia wishes to convey to us at this time in our personal and collective lives ~We will celebrate the Union of the feminine and masculine and Sophia through the ritual of the Sacred Wedding Feast ~ We will honor the Solstice of walking into the Dark in the Northern Hemisphere and walking into the Light in the Southern Hemisphere - another reality of Union in our world PREPARATION ~ Create an altar that will symbolize the Solstice and Union or simply a candle/flowers or whatever calls you ~ Have wine/juice and bread/fruit/cake for the ritual ~ Bring a poem, prayer, or short verse to share if you wish to
